PORTABLE BARRIERS RAPID SET UP --HIGH SECURITY

Portable barricades provide security against vehicle assault or theft. They can be field assembled in two hours ready to protect your facility. They are available in automatic and manual versions. Portable barricades can be shipped to remote locations or used at offsite events. There is no foundation required. Various patents pending.

In 2001 Delta Scientific undertook to develop a new bollard product line with three design criteria. First to meet each of the threat levels as required by the US Department of Defense and Department of State. Secondly to make counter terrorist bollards that are pleasing to look at and non-threatening in appearance. And third make the bollards rugged not only from the attack prospective but also to meet the demands of daily operational needs in all climates and to handle multiple low speed bumps and thumps. Not only will these bollards stop and destroy the largest vehicles they will accommodate a decorative aluminum casting standard or customized to reflect the architectural environment in which they will be placed.

Delta's Bollard systems operate individually in groups up to ten and are used for intermediate level security applications. Individual bollards are up to 13.25inches (336 mm) in diameter, up to 35 inches high (889 mm) and are usually mounted on 3 foot centers. Hydraulic
and pneumatic versions can be operated by a variety of control systems. Manual versions are counter balanced and lock in the up or down position. All models are crash rated and may be lowered to allow passage of authorized vehicles.
